Career Background
LaMont has honorably served in the United States Navy from 1961-65. He was part of the Cuban crisis, first landing in Da Nam, Vietnam and received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. In 1966 he became involved in the real estate industry by buying real estate. LaMont has also been involved in appraising, property management, rehabilitation inspections, supervising construction and DHUD owned property, environmental & property condition professional assessor, and expert witness in the Circuit Court of Cook County and U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Northern District of Illinois.
